Danielle:

It was early Octoberand Taylor would be home for a little break in a couple weeks. She had loved one of the buildings taylor had picked out for her new store. It was down town in the historic area of Tulsa actually not too far away from the guys office/studio. She loved it so much she bought it on the spot several weeks ago.

She was currently in the process of getting the store ready for opening when she became sick. She called Danielle to come fly in and help her with the store.

One afternoon Danielle was at Scarlett's house bringing her soup for lunch while checking on her. Scarlett's phone rang and saw it was taylor. Since Scarlett was asleep she didn't want taylor to worry so she answered it.

"Hello?" Danielle said.

"Hey who is this" Taylor asked.

"Oh hey it's Danielle. Scarlett is asleep. I didn want you to worry so I thought I would answer and let you know. " she replied.

"Why is she asleep? Is she ok?" He asked concerned.

"She's got the flu. She's been in bed the last several days. That's why I am here. Finishing up the store and helping her. " Danielle explained.

"Do I need to come home? I've been really busy last couple days I haven't been able to check in with her. I had no idea she was sick." Taylor said.

"No it's ok. You will be home soon and I won't leave until she is better. I plan on taking her to the doctor tomorrow to get her something for her. Ill keep you updated. " she ensured.

"Are you sure? Ill fly home now I I need to." He said.

"I'm sure. Besides your parents are around if we need anything. " she told him.

"Ok well tell her I called and that I love her. Ill check in later ok?" He said

"Ok. Bye."

"Bye"

After hanging up with Taylor Danielle went upstairs to check in on Scarlett. She saw she wasn't in bed so went to te bathroom. She was laying in the floor.

"Scarlett you ok?" She asked kneeling next to her.

"I think I'm dying." She said

"No you're not dying but why don't we take you to the doctor? Maybe they can get you a shot or something to make you feel better." Danielle told her.

"Ok. Just let me shower first." Scarlett said as she slowly rose to her feet.

Danielle helped her get in the shower and got her some clean clothes to put on.

After 15 minutes they were on their way to the doctor.

Taylor:

Taylor couldn't concentrate on anything after he heard Scarlett was sick. He wish he would have known better yet wish she would have told him. It had been several hours since he last heard from Danielle so he thought he would try again.

"Hey how is she doing?" He txted

After what seemed like hours she finally replied "She's fine. We went ahead and took her to the doctor this afternoon. She's going to be fine."

"That's good. What's she doing now?" He asked.

"Sitting in the tub. Ill have her txt you when she gets out." She txt him

"Ok. Thanks "

Relieved she was going to be ok he went back to work on the sound check he had before their show that night.

A couple weeks had past and he was on his way home for a little break. He couldn't wait to see Scarlett and to have her in his arms again.

He pulled up in the driveway into the garage and ran into the house. To his surprise Scarlett was waiting for him at the door. He could tell she still was not feeling well but she still looked so beautiful. He picked her up into a big hug and kissed her.

"I missed you so much baby! I want you to come with me after the break to finish up the tour. I just can't stand being away from you that long" he said.

She laughed and said "I missed you too and we will talk about the tour later. In the meantime I have a present for you. " she walked over to the kitchen counter and picked up a small box and handed it to him.

He looked at her very surprised.

"Babe you didn't have to get me anything!" He said. "I know but I want to. Just open it. " she said smiling at him.

He unwrapped the paper from the box and took off the lid. Inside a saw a white square that said

"I love you daddy!"

Taylor looked up at Scarlett in shock.

"Turn it over" she told him

He flipped it over seeing a picture of Ezra, Penny,River,Viggo, ad whilemena sitting together holding an ultrasound photo.

"I don't understand...." Taylor stammered

"Natalie and I met up this morning to get the kids picture together. I wanted to include them in the news of their new brother or sister." She said wrapping her arms around him.

"I'm going to be a daddy!" He exclaimed! "That's why you've been so sick?" He added.

"Yeah. I'm about 5/6 weeks." She told him

"Memphis" he said smiling.

"Memphis" she repeated.

He pulled her in close and kissed her deep. "I love you mommy. Thank you for making me the happiest man alive." He whispered.

"I love you too daddy. I invited everyone over for dinner this evening to announce the big news" she told him.

"Great idea. I'm so excited!" He said

"Me too babe. I better start in cooking. Why don't you go lay down and rest?"

"How about I help you instead." He said smiling at her.

"I won't turn that down" she said smiling back at him.

They headed into the kitchen to cook for his family for their big announcement dinner. He was sure they would all be surprised and happy for them. They all loved Scarlett to death. Daddy.... He thought again. He couldn't keep from smiling. He had a good life with Natalie and with their kids but now he was happier than ever and was so happy to be bringing in a new life with the love of his life.

Taylor:

Sitting in the lawyers office taylor couldn't believe this was it. He and Natalie had tried to work everything out but in the end realized it was just too far gone. Natalie had already moved on and was dating some guy named Tim.

He couldn't help but to be so angry at her for being able to move on so quickly but he knew that it was his fault. Things had been rocky before but him sleeping with Scarlett put the cherry on top. Natalie had ended it a few weeks into therapy.

Leaning back in the chair he was thinking how he ended up here at this point in his life? He had once had the greatest love anyone could have known but turned his back and walked away to try to be the bigger man to try and make his marriage work. It was the right thing he was to do and somehow it all still crumbled.

Natalie had walked in startling his thoughts. He was just thankful they agreed ad could still be friends through it all. It really wouldn't be too much different for the kids than it was now. While he was away on tours or business they would stay with Natalie, but while home they would be with taylor. Penny was the only one who seemed to be taking it rather hard. Ezra I think expected it and the others are still too young to understand which he was thankful for.

"Hi. Sorry I'm late." Natalie said as she came in. "Are you ready?" She turned to ask taylor.

He simply just nodded yes.

They signed the papers and that was that. He was now. Divorced man.

Outside of the office taylor stood there collecting his thoughts and catching a breath of fresh air. He could see Natalie walking up to him from the side.

"Hi."-N

"Hi "-T

"Are you ok?"-n

"Yeah ill be fine. Just trying to figure out how I got here. "-t

"You aren't a bad guy taylor. We had to have known this wouldn't last forever. We married way too young and had kids young.... We honestly didn't know each other then. We are different people now with different needs and wants. Everyone makes mistakes so don't beat yourself up ok?"- Natalie said trying to comfort him

"Yeah. I guess. I better go. I've got a plane to catch. Kiss the kids for me."-t

"I will" Natalie told him.

"Take care I yourself. And if you ever need anything don't hesitate to call. Ill still be here for you. "-T

"Ill remember that. "-n

At that moment Taylor turned and walked away from all he had known for the last 11 years.

Danielle:

It was sept 11 and she was all dressed and ready to hit the road to Memphis!! She and zac had made plans to meet early in the afternoon for a lunch date before their show. Atleast too she was getting the whole night with him too. That she really couldn't wait for!!

Putting the finishing touches on her hair she slipped on her shoes, grabbed her bag and keys. She was turning off the lights when a knock came at the door. "Just great" she mumbled. Opening the door stood Scarlett dressed to kill.

"Where are you off to?" Danielle asked

"With you. To Memphis." She replied simply.

"Scarlett. I reeeeeally don't think that's a good idea. I mean seriously??"

"Look Danielle. I'm a big girl. I can handle myself. As far as Taylor is concerned he is dead to me. Ok? I promise." Scarlett informed her.

"Fine!! But you're staying away from Taylor!! Got it?" She looked Scarlett in the eye.

"Got it" she smiled at Danielle.

"Besides after the show I thought I'd hit up Beale street and party it up!" Scarlett said. " I feel like letting my hair down!" She added as Danielle gave her a funny look.

Scarlett:

The drive to Memphis didn't take too long. Scarlett was getting more and more nervous the closer they got. She had somewhat lied to Danielle. True was was a big girl an could handle herself but the "Taylor was dead to her " part was complete bull! She was dying to see him again and since Zac and Danielle were now together she figured this was her best shot.

They pulled into a parking lot and walked the couple blocks to the Hard Rock Cafe to meet Zac for lunch. She had to say he looked a little surprised to see her there as well.

"Hey Zac!!! How are you? I've missed you!" Scarlett said giving him a big hug.

"I'm good. How are you?"-z

"I'm doing good! I'm starving though."-S

"Well lets go eat!"Danielle said

Scarlett walked on on leaving Danielle and Zac to have a moment outside together.

Once all were seated and food was ordered, they just sat around to talk and catch up.

Scarlett had finished up her food and decided to do a little shopping before the show. She promised Danielle and Zac she would meet them back in a couple hours so they could enjoy some time alone.

Zac:

Zac had ordered dessert for him and Danielle Jen he finally asked "What is she doing here? I thought you said it would be a bad idea?"

"I do think it's a bad idea but she insisted she is fine and over Taylor. What can I do?" She asked him back.

"Well I uh forgot to tell you that Taylor is now a divorced man now. They signed the papers a few weeks ago." He said

"Oh my..... This is all we need." Danielle said shaking her head. Zac continued to inform Danielle of all the details on Natalie and Taylor's divorce before time to head back.

Scarlett:

Taylor all but ran off the stage, grabbed Scarlett's hand and lead her down the hall to his dressing room.

"Hey Lady! I'm glad you decided to talk to me. I was worried you would blow me off." He said

"Kind of hard after my personal show earlier." She said smiling at him.

"You liked it? I want you to know I meant every single word Scarlett. I never meant to hurt you. I just flipped out and didn't know what to do. I flew back and told Natalie everything. We tried therapy and stuff for awhile but in the end she decided she didn't want to try any more. She had moved on and is now dating someone else. " he explained as he took his shirt off. "Sorry it's really sweaty." He added seeing Scarlett staring at him not sure if it was because his explanation or because he was now shirtless.

"So uh you and Natalie are no longer together?" She asked

"No we signed our divorce papers few weeks go. " he told her looking for a clean shirt. He was digging through a pile of clothes in his bag when he felt her hands wrap around him. He turned to face Scarlett who was running her hands over his chest. Goosebumps broke out all over his body.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"I want you " she said bluntly.

He looked into her eyes for a moment making sure he heard her correctly. When she leaned in to kiss him he knew he had and he kissed her back gently. The kiss deepened as he reached for her shirt. He pulled it over her head and moved her against the wall. He picked her up so she was straddling him as he moved them towards the shower. He pulled away from her long enough just to turn the shower on.He backed her up against the back shower wall. Kissing each other full of hunger and need Scarlett struggled with the belt on his pants. Finally getting it undone she unbuttoned his pants and pulled them down til they reached his ankles. Taylor was more than ready for her. He ran his hands up her thighs under her skirt until he reached her panties. She moved them to the side and slowly slipped his fingers inside. She let out a soft moan and burried her face into his neck kissing him and nibbling his ears sending chills down his his body. He removed his fingers reaching for himself, gently entered her. She whimpered his name and dug her nails into his back. Between the warm water and Scarlett's body surrounding his it was all he could do to contain himself. Picking up the pacing she grabbed a handful of his hair and as he squeezed her ass in his hands it was all she could take. She yelled out his name and was convulsing underneath him. Knowing he had caused so much pleasure sent him over the edge with her.

Both stayed wrapped up in each other trying to catch their breaths.

Able to finally move, Scarlett cleaned up and grabbed a towel to wrap up in. Taylor followed and asked: "Would you be willing to stay with me tonight?"

She stood for a moment contemplating before answering "I'd love to." Smiling up at him.

"Question is though..... How do we get out of here without anyone seeing us like this?" She asked referring to their soaked clothes and wet hair.

"Ill get some dry clothes on and go out of the side exit. Your shirt is still dry, but if you can manage your wet skirt, you can go out the front and ill have a car waiting for you. Ill meet you at the hotel. Sound ok? Ill have Danielle bring you some clothes when we get there. " he said.

"Ok yeah. That's fine. I have a bag in her car." She replied.

"So you planned this?" He asked smiling

"No but I had hoped for it." She told him returning the smile.

Taylor changed his clothes and kissed her on her cheek.

"Ill see you shortly beautiful ."

Taylor:

He was so excited to have her agree to stay with him. He had so many exciting plans. Now to tie up the loose ends before he met her back at the hotel....

Zac:

Sitting outside of the radio booth his phone started to vibrate. He had a few minutes before the radio show so he answered it.

"Hey what's going on? Is everything ok?" Zac asked Danielle.

"Well.... I think she will be in time. I think she is just in shock right now. Her husband,James, filed for divorce. Left her the day we got back from California. He said he was tired of being alone or some crap like that." Danielle informed him.

"Oh man. That really sucks." Zac was speechless. He had liked Scarlett. He didn't want her see her hurting.

"Yeah it does. But I think she will be ok once it really sets in. I mean she is head over heels in love with Taylor anyways. She deserves better than James." Daniele stated.

It suddenly hit Zac that Scarlett was now single and it wouldn't take long for Taylor to find out. "Oh boy" he thought.

"Hey love I have this radio thing I have to do right now. Ill call you when it's done ok?"

"Ok ttyl."

He hung up with Danielle. How was he suppose to tell Taylor about Scarlett? He knew it would only cause Taylor's head to spin out of control and being way over in the UK was not the best of places to be for this situation. With that he decided not to say a word.

Taylor:

It had been days since he had heard from Scarlett. He knew how upset she was when she left but he thought he had made her understand that they were not a mistake. He was going crazy not knowing anything. Everytime Zac had talked to Danielle he asked for any updates on her.... But always came up empty handed. He couldn't stand it anymore. He had to go. Taylor decided to cut the UK trip short. They had a break coming up anyways and Ike and Zac could handle it.

After the radio interview that afternoon taylor pulled Zac aside. " I'm going to Arkansas. You and Ike can handle this. Ill let you know when I make it in." He said

"What? What about Natalie and the kids?" Zac asked.

"They are at Natalie's parents house. I will meet them there in a couple days. Zac I have to go find out what is going on. I can't sit here and do nothing!" Taylor was now pacing the room.

"Ok I get it but let me just tell you what you are walking into. " zac said

"Walking into? What do you mean?" Taylor asked

"I haven't told you yet what Danielle just told me about 30 minutes ago about Scarlett. I wanted to wait until we were finished in the UK but you need to know." Zac started.

"What do you know that you aren't telling me Zac?"

"Taylor..... Scarlett's husband James..... He left her. The day she got back from California....he packed up and left. Said he wanted a divorce because he didn't want to be alone anymore or something. That's all I know." Zac told him.

Taylor slumped down to the floor.

"He just left her? Like that? Left her all alone? God he is so stupid!" Taylor said.

After sitting there thinking for a moment he got up. " I have to go be with her. I have to know she's ok" Taylor said.

"Ok. Just be careful and ill deal with everything here. Ok? And ill see you in a day or two." Zac called out to him

Taylor couldn't get back to the hotel fast enough to pack his bags. It was like a dream. He was running as fast as he could but everything was moving in slow motion.

About an hour later he was boarding his plane back to the US. He would give anything to speed up the hands of time. He just needed to be with her and know he was alright. Now to just get this flight over with.

Scarlett:

A couple of days had past since Danielle took her out. She was still hurting but was coming around to the fact James had really left.

Scarlett was now back at work and it made her feel better. For one it got her our of their house they have shared for the last 3 years and two she got to spend time with the girls from the store.

It was now after the forth of July and things were starting to ease up a bit at the store. Scarlett, Danielle and a couple other girls were sitting in the floor sorting through what could be marked down for their sale they were having this coming weekend. They were sitting around joking and laughing when the bell that hung on the door jingled. Danielle looked up and instantly grew quiet. The other girls seemed to notice her and looked at the door as well. Scarlett kept on talking when she noticed everyone else.

"What in the world are y'all lookin......"

She looked up at the door and saw him.

"At." She finished

Taylor stood there in the front of the store. His eyes locked on hers. He looked tired and like he may have been crying. She couldn't tell really. She slowly stood up "What are you doing here?" She asked nervously.

"I came to check on you. You wouldn't return my calls or my txts and I was going crazy. And then Zac told me what had happened. I couldn't leave you here alone. So here I am." He told her

Scarlett disnt know what to say. She excused herself from the group walked up to Taylor and gave him the biggest hug she possibly could. He wrapped her in his arm and she just melted into him. She had missed this more than she realized. His touch,smell, his strength..... Everything. She missed it all. She lifted her head to look at him "I'm sorry I never answered your calls. I was just confused and hurt I guess."

"It's ok. I'm just glad you're ok." He said and bent down to kiss her. He coul feel her go weak in his arms. Man had he missed her he thought.

"Can you take a break for me to take you to lunch?" He asked

"Yeah let me just grab my stuff. Ill be right back." Scarlett turned to go to her office and Danielle followed.

"Omg!!!! He's here!!" Danielle shrieked!!

"I know I don't know what to think really"-S

"He loves you. He really does. "- D

"Well he is taking me to lunch so ill be back later ok?"

"Ok have fun!" Danielle told her

Scarlett walked out to the front of the store to Taylor. He took her hand in his am lead her out to the car to go figure life out.

Zac:

After taking Danielle to the airport he and Taylor decided to grab a drink and to talk. He could visibly see how shaken up taylor was over Scarlett leaving. "He must really be in love with her" he thought. He hoped to be able to help him sort things out.

They met back at the hotels restaurant took a seat at the bar and ordered a round of beer. Taylor aslo ordered a shot of whiskey.

"Ok so tell me..... What's going on with you taylor."

Taylor quickly threw back the shot and chased it with his beer. It took him a moment to collect his thoughts to be able to face his brother. He slowly looked up from the empty shot glass and ordered another. "I lover her. End of story. I know you don't understand it. That's fine because I don't either. All I can tell you is that Scarlett is who I am meant to be with. She is my other half." Taylor said plain and simple.

"Ok so I know I don't understand and that's ok because I'm not in it, but what can you do? Isn't she married aslo?" Zac asked.

"Yeah. She is. And apparently there isn't anything I can do but sit here and attempt to drink her away. " Taylor answered as he threw back his second shot.

"Well I can tell you that drinking is only going to make it worse so you don't want to do that. As far as Scarlett is concerned I honestly don't think God would have made you two for each other for you to only bemiserable. You know? Everything happens for a reason" Zac said.

"I know but that doesn't really help me right this moment. " Taylor replied.

"I know and I'm sorry I don't have the answers for you. All I can do is be here for you. But if it makes you feel any better, your the first to know I'm thinking of dating again. I really like Danielle. She's great and fun to be around. She makes me happy. " zac told Taylor

Taylor looked over at his brother who had the biggest smile of his face. "I'm happy for you man! Scarlett said she would treat you right. "

The two continued to talk for an hour or so before heading upstairs to pack. They had a plane to catch to Canada and then the UK.

Scarlett:

Once off the airplane and on the road to drive home from the airport Scarlett debated or wether or not to txt taylor that she had made it in. She decided to send him a quick txt so he wouldn't be blowing up her phone later.

She dropped Danielle off at her house then drove to her own.

Pulling in the driveway she saw James outside loading boxes into his truck.

"I wonder what he is up to" she thought as she got of of the car. She grabbed her bags and headed into the house.

She took one look around and saw it was somewhat different. James came in a few moments later and just stood looking at her.

"What's going on James? What did you need to talk about?" Scarlett asked.

"Let's go sit down and talk." James replied. Scarlett was becoming nervous. She hoped nothing was wrong.

Seated in the living room James took her hands and said " Scarlett you know I love you and we have been together for awhile now. We have been through a lot together. It's just....well..... I want a divorce." James flat out said.

Scarlett was stunned. She couldn't move, think, breathe or anything. She just sat there.

"Scarlett? Hun say something." James tried.

About 5 minutes had past when Scarlett finally choked out "Ok"

She didn't know what else to say or do.

"I'm sorry Scarlett. I really am. I just can't be in a relationship anymore by myself. We both deserve more than that. I'm getting my things together now and ill be out of your hair soon." James said as he stood up and went back to packing boxes.

Scarlett still didn't move. She just sat on the couch looking around at the past several years of her life and how how they were all wasted.

Danielle:

Several days has gone by and no word from Scarlett. She didn't mind running the store while Scarlett was out but the fact she couldn't reach Scarlett was starting to bother her. She made a mental note to go by her house after work.

She was putting out some new arrivals when her phone rang. Pulling it from her pocket she noticed it was Zac. So far he had made good on his promise to keep in touch with her. He had called and txt her every single day.

"Hey you! How are you doing?" Zac asked

"I'm ok. How are you?"-D

"I'm doing good. Why just ok? Is something wrong?"-Z

"No not with me. I'm just worried about Scarlett. I haven't seen or heard from her since we got back from California." She explained.

"Yeah. Something must be going on. Taylor hasn't heard anything either. He's going nuts!"- Z

"We'll I'm going to go check on her after work today. Anyways what are you up to today?"-D

"Nothing really. Just doing to radio promotional stuff. I'm getting a break soon. I'd love to see you. " zac said.

"Oh really?? I'd love to see you too! Surely we can work something out." Danielle said.

For the next hour they talked back and forth deciding on his break plans and where they could meet up.

It had reached 6:00 and Danielle had just finished closing up and was headed to Scarlett's house to figure out what was going on.

She pulled in the driveway seeing Scarlett's car, so she knew she was home atleast. She made her way to the door and knocked several times. It was clear that Scarlett wasn't home or wasn't goin to answer. Luckily she knew where the spare key was.

Opening the door she made her way inside. "Scarlett? You home?" Danielle called out to her. She could hear something in the next room. She made her way to the doorway and saw Scarlett sitting on the couch crying.

"Omg Scarlett are you ok? What's wrong?" Danielle rushed to her side.

"James left" was all Scarlett had the energy to say.

"James left? What do you mean? Left where?" Danielle pushed for answers.

"He wants a divorce." Scarlett said flatly

Danielle was just as stunned. "Where in the hell did this come from?" Danielle asked

"I don't know. All he said was he couldn't be in a relationship alone and talked about how I worked too much and I was always gone blah blah blah." -S

"Have you heard from him?"-D

"Nope I did however get the papers yesterday."-S

"Wow! What a douch!"-D

Scarlett made a smile laugh. "Yeah he is."

"Have you talked to.... You know?" Danielle asked

"No. I haven't. It's not going to do either one of us any good if I do." -S

"He needs to know you are atleast ok. He thinks you have fallen off the planet."-D

"Ill think about it "-S

"Well when was the last time you showered or ate anything?" -D

"I don't know really."-S

"Well come on get up and shower and ill take you to eat." Danielle told her.

Scarlett did as told and within minutes was ready to head out the door.

Danielle put her around around Scarlett's shoulds. "Your going to be ok girl. I'm here for ya!" Danielle informed her.

"Thanks" Scarlett said and smile.

She was really blessed to have such a wonderful friend.

During dinner Danielle's phone went off. A txt from zac.

"She ok?"-Z

"Not really. Ill call or txt you later :)"-d

"Ok bye love"-z

Scarlett:

The family dinner had went surprisingly well. Everyone was extremely happy to be welcoming a new baby into the family especially Taylor's older kids Ezra and Penny. Scarlett has yet to spend a lot of time with Taylor's kids, but during the family dinner she could feel the connections growing between them. Penny never seemed to leave her side the entire night. She kept asking all kinds of questions about the baby and saying how she wanted to help out. Scarlett was glad they seemed to like her. She was nervous the family may be a little bitter considering the whole Natalie and divorce ordeal.

The dinner had come to a close and everyone had left except for Ezra and Penny. They had begged taylor if they could stay the night. Surprisingly Natalie had agreed.

After getting them to sleep Scarlett and Taylor were cuddling in bed and talking of the baby.

"Thank you for the wonderful dinner tonight babe. I knew my family would be so happy for us and the baby. " Taylor told her.

"I'm glad they're happy. I was really nervous about it especially your kids. Penny was glued to my hip all night. It was sweet. " Scarlett told him smiling.

"Yeah Ezra and her both seem really excited about the baby. That's good though." He added.

Taylor pulled her in close and kissed her forehead. " I love you Scarlett. Please say you will come with me for the rest of the tour? It's only a couple months. The store can wait." He asked. "We will see taylor. Maybe Danielle wouldn't mind running it while I'm away? Ill talk to her tomorrow. She and Zac went out tonight. I'm happy for tem you know? They both seem really happy." Scarlett said.

"Yeah they do. I haven't seen Zac this happy in a long time. " he added.

They continued to talk until they both fell asleep in each others arms.

Danielle:

Waking up in Zacs arms was the best feeling in the world. She was so happy with him. He was so good to her. She understood how hurt he was over Kate and the divorce but she still wish he would give a little more of himself to her. It had been over a year now.

She slowly got out of bed not to disturb him. She had to get dressed and get back to Scarlett's so they could go work on the new store.

Arriving at Scarlett's, Danielle was surprised to see Ezra and Penny there. Taylor and the kids were sitting at the table eating breakfast when she came in.

"Hey guys! Where's Scarlett?" She asked.

"She's still in bed. She's slowly but surely getting around. Just going to take her a bit." Taylor said.

"Sick again?" She asked

"Yeah. I hate it for her ." He replied.

"Ill take her up some toast and water. Maybe it will help." She said while grabbing a plate from the counter.

"So I hear you and Zac went out last night?" Taylor asked while smiling at her.

"Yeah. We did. He's great and I really like him. I just don't know if he is ready yet for a relationship you know?" Danielle replied

"He will get there. Give him time. He really likes you. I can tell." He told her.

"I hope so." She said before walking out of the kitchen heading to Scarlett's room.

Danielle knocked on the door before entering seeing Scarlett sitting on the side of the bed.

"Hey. How are you feeling? I brought you some toast and water. " Danielle told her

"Ugh. I'm ok. Thanks but id really like a large strawberry slush." She said

"Oh ok well I thought we could go to the store today to see what else needed to be done. Get dressed and ill take you by to get a slush beforehand." Danielle said.

"Ok. Give me a few and ill be downstairs." Scarlett told her.

Danielle went downstairs and told taylor they were heading out to the store.

"Can I go too daddy please?" Penny asked.

"I don't mind if Scarlett and Danielle don't mind, but you better be on your best behavior." Taylor told her.

"Yay!! Thank you daddy! I'm going to go ask scarlett if its ok!" Penny yelled excitedly as she jumped up from the table and ran upstairs.

"She's really excited. Isn't she?" Danielle said.

All Taylor could do was smile. "Yeah she is."

Several minutes later Scarlett, Danielle and Penny were all ready to head to work on the new store.

Danielle watched as Taylor and Scarlett said their goodbyes to each other. She was extremely happy for them but a little jealous as well. She hopped to have the love they shared one day.

"You better take care of her" Taylor told her snapping danielle from her thoughts.

"Geez Tay! We will be fine and I promise Penny and I can handle it." Danielle said giving Penny a smile.

"Yeah dad. We got this!" Penny told taylor. He smiled and waved them out the door. He and Ezra were going to go the the studio today with Ike and Zac.

They cleaned up the kitchen then headed out to the studio. Taylor had made plans to talk to Zac about Danielle.

Scarlett:

The next hour and a half went by so slowly. Danielle had come in around noon and told her why she was runnin late.

"Hey so I found out that the guys are going on tour this summer and they are comin to Memphis!!! We should so go!" Danielle all but shouted.

"Are you serious?" Scarlett replied.

"Yes! Sept. 11th. Are you game?" Danielle asked.

"Oh I'm not sure that would be such a good idea or not." Scarlett answered.

"Well why not?" Danielle asked

"Well....." Scarlett hesitated a bit before finally saying. " ok so I never told you this but remember when Taylor tooke outside to talk that day at Starbucks?"

"Yeah.......?"

"Well we sort of kissed." Scarlett could see Danielle's mouth hit the floor in shock.

"Are you serious?!? Why didn't you tell me??" Dani asked excitedly.

"I don't know? He just kinda surprised me with it. No big deal really. " Scarlett told her.

"No big deal my ass Scarlett!!"

Just the Scarlett's phone went off. "Hold that thought!" She said. She smiled as she walked over to the counter to get her phone. She saw the number and immediately tried to hide her excitement.

"Hey you! You have NO idea how glad I am that you txt me today. I was really beginning to get worried!" Taylor wrote

"I know. I wanted to several times but I could never bring myself to do it. Until today anyways...." Scarlett told him.

"Why today may I ask?"-t

"You can ask but it doesn't mean I have to tell you ;)" - s

"True. So how hv you been? Still gorgeous as ever?" -T

Scarlett immediately blushed.

"Well I wouldn't go as far as gorgeous,but yeah, just been staying busy lately. Why about you? I hear you're going on tour?"-s

"Yeah. We are actually in New York right now gettin ready to do a live concert on tv tonight. You should watch it!"- T

"I may do that" -s

Scarlett couldn't wipe the smile off her face even if someone hit her with a baseball bat. They txt back and forth for next hour or so before he had to go.

As Scarlett was getting ready to close up the store for the day, she heard Danielle hoer for her to come out front. As she walked into the front of the store, there on the counter stood 2 dozen white roses with a small package.

"Who is that from?" Scarlett asked

"It's for you and I'm not sure. No name on delivery slip." Danielle told her.

Scarlett went to open the package and inside found a cd with a note attached:

"I looked up your store online to get the address. I hope it's not too creepy but I wanted to send you a copy of our new cd. Several of the songs are for you but I want you to listen to Lost Without You. Please know I can't get you out of my head. You have completely consumed me and I'm not ready to let this go. Enjoy beautiful". Love taylor.

Scarlett stood in shock for a bit before taking the cd and flowers to her office and put the cd in the player. She turned it directly to lost without you and listened as his voice invaded her office. Her eyes swelled with tears as the lyrics poured out of his lips. It was in that moment she knew she had to see him. She had to be near him and feel him. And it couldn't wait.

"Danielle!" Scarlett yelled out wiping the tears from her face.

"Yeah?" -D

"Start packing your bags and call Michelle to take over the store for a few days. We're going to find him!"

Danielle smiled as she turned out of the office to make the arrangements. Meanwhile Scarlett was already online booking plane tickets. It was a risk she knew but a risk she had to take. She called James and told him she had to fly out to meet with a potential seller and she would be back in a couple days.

All packed and ready to go Danielle and Scarlett headed to the airport.

Taylor:

Taylor was still on cloud 9 from hearing from Scarlett earlier. He still couldn't believe it but he had hoped that she had recieved his package he sent her. He wanted her to hear the song he had wrote for her before playing it on live tv that night.

Just as he was going to take the stage he pulled out his phone and sent Scarlett a quick txt "Hey lady, I hope you are having a good night. Ill txt you afterwards :)" here goes nothing he thought.

Scarlett:

The tour had come and gone and she had to admit that she really enjoyed it. They were now home for Christmas break and Scarlett was very thankful for it. She was now a little over 3 months pregnant and starting to show a little. The morning sickness had subsided a little but the exhaustion seemed to stay. Taylor had talked her into putting off the store until after the new year which she was glad to do.

Ever since they had been home Penny had been right by Scarlett's side. She had pretty well moved in with her and Taylor. She had told her she didn't like Tim very much and she would rather stay with them.

Scarlett had no problem with penny being around. Her and Scarlett had fixed up one of the spare rooms for her to stay in. She was such a great helper to have around the house and knew she would make a wonderful big sister. They were in the new nursery putting the crib and dresser together when Danielle came in

"Hey girls! You have to see this dress I found! It's gorgeous!" She said pulling out the magazine to show them.

"Oh it's so pretty!!" Penny exclaimed!

"I love it too. It's so you" Scarlett told her.

"I know! We need to head to the bridal shop and see if they have it in so I can try it." Danielle said.

"Ok sounds good. Can you give us a few more minutes? Better yet grab a screw driver and help! Then we can go." Scarlett told her.

"Ok" Danielle replied.

Several hours later Danielle has bought the perfect dress and now they were walking around the mall finishing up some last minute Christmas shopping. The girls were entering the food court when Scarlett stopped dead in her tracks. She couldn't move couldn't breathe couldn't function. Danielle noticed Scarlett had dropped behind and immediately thought something may have been wrong with her or the baby.

"Scarlett what's wrong!? Are you ok?" Danielle asked worried. She was getting very worried of her now very paled friend.

All Scarlett could do was stare. Danielle seemed to take notice and followed her gaze. Shortly after her jaw hit the floor. Penny was now getting a little scared and hugged Scarlett. "What's wrong Scarlett you're scaring me!" Penny said

Snapping back to Scarlett hugged penny back "I'm ok. I'm sorry just a little shocked that's all. Come on let's get something to eat" she told penny forcing a smile on her face. Danielle looked at scarlett with wide eyes. "What in the hell!! I'm going to go jump his ass!" She whispered to Scarlett.

"Dont worry about it. Hopefully he won't see us. Just try to avoid him." Scarlett whispered back. Penny was now holding Scarlett's hand as they were walking. She knew something was wrong but just didn't know what exactly. The girls continued to walk until they were met with his gaze. They all stopped dead. There stood James with his apparent very pregnant due any day girlfriend.

"Scarlett! Um hi. This is Kayce. Kayce this is Scarlett and Danielle and....."

"Penny." Penny told him.

Scarlett never said a word just stood there.

"So Kayce..... How long have you and James been together?" Danielle asked bluntly.

"Over a year." Kayce responded.

Scarlett felt like the walls around her spinning and the floor would give out any moment.

"Really?!?! So you are aware that he just left his wife Scarlett here a few months ago?" Danielle asked now full of rage.

Neither James nor Kayce said a word.

"Danielle leave it alone it is what it is." Scarlett pleaded.

"Fine. But just so you know..... Karma is a real bitch and so are paybacks!" Danielle said taking Penny's hand and walking away leaving scarlett.

"I uh I'm sorry Scarlett. I never meant to hurt you or anything." James stammered out.

"Look it's fine. Neither one of us were completely honest in our relationship. So it's for the best." She replied and walked off. She knew questions were now running through his head about the possibilities that Scarlett wasn't honest in their relationship either and knew it would eat at him. But for now she was crushed and ready to crumble to pieces. She knew it had worked out for the best but it still hurt. The man she married had been not only cheating but was now having a baby with the girl he had been cheating with!! She needed air. Scarlett found the nearest exit and collapsed against the side of the building in tears.

Taylor:

Taylor was cooking supper when the girls came home from the mall. He walked into the room to greet them only to see Danielle and penny.

"Hey! How was the shopping? Where's Scarlett?" He asked.

"Shopping was good. I found a dress. We went to the mall where we ran into James....." Danielle trailed off.

"James as in her ex James?" He asked.

"Yup! Along with James's very pregnant girlfriend that he has been with for over a year." Danielle added.

"What?!?!?" Taylor asked. He could feel the anger building. "Where is Scarlett is she ok?"

"She's upstairs. She's a wreck." She told him.

He couldn't help but feel a little hurt to hear she was so upset but he could imagine why. He nodded to Danielle and turned to head upstairs.

He knocked softly in the door and walked in to see Scarlett laying in bed crying. He went to her side and pulled her into him.

"Ssshhhhh. Honey it's ok. I know it hurts." He told her while rubbing her back.

"I know but it shouldn't hurt! He left me! I shouldn't care but just knowing it was all a lie is what hurts. I waisted so much time on him to find out he was with someone else anyway!" She cried.

"I know baby I know. But at least you're with me now and we are having our own baby." He comforted her. He lifted her chin and smiled at her. She half smiled back at him before he planted a soft kiss on her lips. "Is there anything I can do?" He asked. "No. It's ok I'll be fine." She said just as the doorbell rang.

"I'll be right back" he told her as he headed down to answer the door.

Taylor opened the door. "Is Scarlett around?"

"Yeah. Who are you?"

"James."

Scarlett:

Several months had passed since her trip to Tulsa. It was late spring/ early summer and it was a busy time of year for her store especially with all the new shipments coming in.

Life had pretty much gone back to normal. Just going through he everyday in the same routine. Earlier that morning Danielle had sent her a text saying she was going to be late coming in.

Scarlett hated being alone. It always gave her quiet time to let her mind to think back to the Tulsa marketing trip and back to the kiss in the alleyway with his hands on her face. It made her smile. There wasn't a day that had gone by that he hasn't crossed her mind. She always wondered what he was doing or where he was at. And today proved to be no different. She couldn't take it anymore. She knew she was crazy but she had to. With that she wet to her office.

Taylor:

Taylor was sitting in the green room waiting to go on stage for their Good Morning America performance when he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. Knowing it was too late to check it now, it would have to wait.

After their performance Taylor and his brothers had to rush off to a few more appearances before ther sound check that afternoon for their live tv concert. He had completely forgot about the earlier text he had recieved.

At around 2 his phone had rang. He pulle it from his pocket swing it was Natalie he answered. She was telli g him of their earlier activities and that they were now headed to see lady liberty. After hanging up e saw the txt alert still on his screen. Cursing hiself for forgetting he immediately opened the txt a saw a number he did not recognize. All the txt had said was " thought of you today. Just wanted to say hello."

Odd he thought. Who coul this have been. More than likely a wrong number but to humor himself he txt back "not sure who you're trying to reach, but it sure is nice to know someone out there is thinking of me :)"

It don't take long for them to respond. "Ha! Don't flatter yourself too much or your head will swell! I just thought I would check in to see how you were doing. Sorry if its a bad time for you."

As he read the message he smiled but noticed they still failed to say who they were or were trying to reach. He wrote "Well not really a bad time just super busy. Especially not knowing who I am talking to."

About 10 minutes had passed with no response. He assumed they had the wrong number. He went on stage for their sound check when his phone went off again. Glancing at the screen quickly saw it was a txt. He opened it up and his heart stopped. "Scarlett" was all it read. It didn't have to say more. Chills ran down his spine and he smiled at the all too familiar feeling. He could hear Zac in the background starting to count off the song.

"Hey wait just a second! I've got to take this!" Taylor yelled

"Don't take too long. We have got to get this done Tay!!" Ike yelled back

Taylor had slipped off to the side of the stage. He wrote back "wow! It's really you huh? I was beginning to think I wouldn't hear from you again! How are you?"

As he waited impatiently for a response he couldn't help to think back at their first run it at the coffee shop and the their first kiss. The vibration of his phone shook his thoughts

"Yeah I know. I couldn't get the nerve to txt you, but here I am! Sorry to txt you on such a busy day but it was now or never" Scarlett wrote.

"No it's ok. I'm just glad to hear from you, but I am at sound check can I txt you back in an hour or so? Ill have more time to talk then."

"Sounds great! Ill be waiting ;)" Scarlett wrote.

"Good ill txt you soon :)"

With that Taylor went back on the stage feeling the best he had felt sinve they were together in Tulsa. He was so ready to get done with sound check so he could talk to her again.

Scarlett:

Pulling into the driveway of the address Taylor had givin her left her giddy. The house was so beautiful sh couldn't believe her eyes! It was a 2 story gray house with black shutters and a bright red door. It had a big front porch with a swing. Just perfect Scarlett thought. She pulled into the garage and went to take a look inside. The inside was just as beautiful as the outside. It had 4 bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was so big and it lead out to the back porch through double doors. Scarlett also notice it had an inground pool!! She was so excited she immediately pulled out her phone to see taylor a txt.

"I love our house just so you know! It's beautiful and perfect! I love you!"

With no response she decided to unload some of her things out of her car.

She had carried in several boxes to their bedroom they would now share together. She was putting things away when she heard something downstairs. She got real quiet and still to keep listening. It sounded like someone was in the house! Quickly looking around the room she saw a baseball bat in the corner of the closet. She grabbed it and headed out of the room down the hall to the stairs. She could see the persons shadow moving around. Slowly moving down the stairs she held up the bat to be ready to swing at them. As she reached the the end of the hall she was about to round the corner when all of a sudden she was met by a screaming woman. Scarlett held the bat tightly and was screaming too. A moment had past when the dark haired woman, who Scarlett recognized, stopped screaming and said "I am so sorry. I wasn't aware there would be anyone here. I'm Natalie." She said holding out her hand.

"Scarlett. Um may I ask why you are here?" She asked while shaking her hand.

"Oh yeah! I had told taylor I would be bringing by some of his things from the house.Didn't he tell you? May I ask who you are and why you are here? I must say you look really familiar." Natalie said.

"Yeah I saw you at the hotel in California. I was in the elevator with Zac. And I live here." Scarlett simple stated.

"Oh yes! You are the girl I saw with Zac! Are you two together now?" Natalie asked rather excitedly.

"No. I'm not with Zac. I'm with Taylor. "

Natalie just stared at her like she was some mystery animal on some display.

After what seemed like 5 minutes Natalie finally choked out " You and Taylor.......together? And you now live here..... With him?"

"Yes. Didn't he tell you?" Scarlett replied somewhat annoyed to be having this conversation with his ex wife.

"No. I'm afraid he didn't. Well I better go." Natalie said and turned on her heels and was out the door.

Scarlett was so confused and somewhat angry with Taylor. First off how did he not tell Natalie he was moving his gf in with him and second how in the hell did she get in HER house?

Taylor:

Taylor could feel his cell phone blowing up in his pocket. He didn't know who would keep calling him repeatedly but knew it must be important. Taylor excused himself from the meeting they were having to see who it was. He checked his phone and saw he had twelve missed calls from Natalie and five from Scarlett.

"Shit!" He whispered to himself. As much as he didn't want to he called Natalie back just to make sure it wasn't one of the kids needing something.

"What the hell do you think you are doing moving your little whore of a gf in with you without telling me?!?" Natalie yelled at him before he could even say anything.

"Ok woah Natalie chill out! What's going on?" He asked

"I'm reffering to your new gf that is living in your house!!! You know the girl that I saw with Zac in California.....the same one now in your house saying she lives there??" Natalie ranted.

"Ok first off what are you talking about Scarlett and Zac together in California and second yes I asked Scarlett to move in with me. We are moving on with our lives right Natalie? Aren't you with Tim now?" He replied.

"Yes we are moving on I just didn't realize you would be moving someone in so quickly. And she was the girl I saw in the elevator that had been out running with Zac. " Natalie informed him

"Ok well I don't know anything about that and how in the hell did you find out anyway?" He asked rather annoyed.

"I went to drop off your things and used the spare key to get in. She was there." She told him.

"Ok well I'm busy I have to go." Was all h said and hung up. He made a note to ask Zac about being with Scarlett and hiding the spare key. Having enough drama he had hoped Scarlett wasn't pisses but judging by the 5 missed calls he knew she was. He dialed her number.

"Well you mr. Have some explaining to do" she answerd.

"Yes I know. As far as Natalie goes don't worry about her. I just haven't had time to tell her you were coming." He said

"Ok I get that but how did she get in OUR house?!?" She asked

"There is a spare key out front hiding under the front step of the porch. Please get it and put it somewhere only you know. I don't want her inviting herself over anymore." He said.

"Ok I will. I love you."she told him.

"I love you too baby. Ill be home soon ok? But I have to go. Ill call as soon as I'm done ok?"

"Ok. Bye." She said

"Bye"

Taylor hung up the phone and took a deep breath. Time to get back to work but all he wanted was to be home with Scarlett. He needed a vacation..
